I wonder what would be the steps along this road to reaching the targeted destination and what I could do ( an aligned individual) to help reach that goal?
Eric, there is no way that ICE will be dispatched to polling places, or any other federal officers. I have reposted and discussed your work widely but I think you are off target on this. Nothing wrong with state laws banning ICE but there are other priorities.
There may be some FBI surveillance of speific polls, if there is word that extremists on the right or left plan actual election interference. Did you see the hundreds of thousands of veterans at No Kings? No way they will allow that.
I remember when in 2020 some DSA chapters were talking about what they were going to do to be "ready" for the election. Everything that is but working to actually defeat Trump by supporting Biden and the top of the ticket in statewide races.
About time the opposition got a real focus. Who knew?
Governors, AGs, DoJs, Police Chiefs and Sheriffs need to be held accountable " to support and defend the Constitution." They took an oath and yet they seem clueless until after the crime or theft is accomplished and even then, in the cases of Georgia DoJ and Garland/Smith, they cannot get the case together. NOW, there is every reason to broadcast a clear strategy and a commitment for troops to protect our right to vote!! Unless they are Epstein Class or neo-fascist, what are they waiting for??!!!
